What do you do to process your anger alone?
If something happens to upset you — Do you move? I find that physical expression moves it through my body. If you just sit on your feelings, you might have to one day go back and work on releasing your response that you’re squelching today. Therapy is expensive. What I’m suggesting is free.
I’m not going to pretend that I know what you’re like, what you’ve tried already, or what your issues and circumstances are. I’m not making an abstract generalization that it is the only method and that it will always help anyone at any time. The method I’m about to describe helps me personally, and maybe it will help you. And you don’t have to believe in any spiritual properties of the herb called “sage” for this to be beneficial, but I do recommend it as an optional enhancer of the process, which you can do purely symbolically to focus your intent. So, in that case, unless you can pick some white sage, there’s the small cost of a smudge stick.
